Our Managing Director of Mt Gravatt Coach &Travel says the company's philosophy of dependability, reliability and providing a service that the employees can be proud of is at the heart of her bus company's success.

The business commenced in 1974 with one bus and one school run. From those humble beginnings, Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel now have a fleet of 50 vehicles ranging from 13 seats to 91 seat capacity and employs a staff of 80 people.

In December 2012, the company relocated to a purpose built state of the art bus and coach depot at Underwood Qld. This new depot had been a project that Del and her team worked tirelessly on since 2010 and they are justifiably proud of this milestone in the growth of the business.

The business holds a Translink contract and provides the state government with Translink services for the local area right through to the Brisbane CBD. The Company also carries in excess 2000 students to and from school on a daily basis as well as providing local and interstate charter services for schools, Seniors, Events and Local Community Groups.

We’re in the business of putting people on buses — NOT putting them through from one operator to another. That’s why, when you call us, you’ll get to speak directly to someone who specialises in the type of transport you’re after.

Our call centre team really know their stuff and will be able to give you excellent advice about almost any venue (which gates to use, where the best spots are for loading and unloading students, etc). Travel planning can turn into a nightmare if you’re not used to doing this kind of planning!

Fortunately, having a full-time tour co-ordinator on our team allows us to offer you yet another complimentary service. We can help you plan to meet any special needs your tour members may have, or to include any attractions along the way. (We know where they are!) On your behalf, we’ll make reservations for attractions, book meals, venues, motels, and organise any hire or special equipment.

Coach Drivers

Our loyal team of experienced and reliable drivers are always willing to go the extra mile to assist passengers. We carefully select our drivers for their extensive safe driving experience and pleasant, caring and helpful attitude — so you’re assured an enjoyable journey. Each one of our team is caring, professional, experienced, and friendly. They don’t just “drive and drop off”. From the cheery “G’day!” at the door, they take an interest in you and your group. They’ll provide your group with complimentary hot water on day tours for morning teas, if requested. They’ll point out landmarks and give you expert commentary, when required!
